Ingredients

  • ΒΌ cup strawberries about 2-3 medium strawberries
  • β…“ cup rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • β…“ cup almond milk
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add rolled oats and chia seeds to a small bowl or jar. Stir to combine.
  • Add almond milk and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup and stir to combine. Optional: Add an extra teaspoon of maple syrup if you prefer sweeter oats.
  • Add diced strawberries. Mix until the strawberries are evenly distributed in the oat mixture.
  • Put lid on jar or cover bowl with plastic wrap or the cover of your choosing. Refrigerate overnight. Makes 1 serving.

Notes

Be sure to let the oats sit overnight so the oats and the chia seeds have a chance to absorb the milk.
Make sure to cover the oats before putting them in the fridge to maximize their freshness.
Overnight Oats can be stored in the fridge for up to three days. When ready to eat, remove from the fridge and enjoy.
I do not recommend freezing overnight oats.
