- 4 medium red potatoes
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Wash and dry potatoes. Use the top of a potato peeler or knife to remove any blemishes or bad spots on the potatoes.
Cut potatoes into wedges. First cut the potato in half lengthwise.
Next place the cut side of the potato on the cutting board and cut in half again.
Finally turn the potato over and cut in half again. Repeat with remaining potatoes.
Preheat air fryer to 400F. Place wedges in a large bowl and toss with olive oil and seasonings.
Places wedges in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 22-24 minutes or until the wedges turn golden. Toss the wedges every 5-6 minutes. Remove from air fryer and serve immediately. Makes four servings, 8 wedges each.
Make sure to place the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. This will ensure the potatoes cook evenly.
Shake the air fryer basket every 5-6 minutes during cooking time as this will ensure the wedges cook evenly.
Air Fryer Potato Wedges are best served immediately after cooking. Leftovers can be stored for a day or two in the refrigerator. They can be reheated in the microwave or in the air fryer but they won't be as crispy as they were when they first came out of the air fryer.
