Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup optional

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 375F.
  • Wash and core apple. Cut apple into slices.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on the apple slices.
  • Arrange apple slices in a single layer in air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the apple slices have started to soften but are still slightly firm. Remove apples from air fryer and drizzle with maple syrup if desired. Makes 1 serving.

Notes

There is no need to grease the air fryer prior to adding the apple slices.
Do not overcook the apple slices because they will turn into apple mush! Cook the apple slices until they start to soften but are still slightly firm.
Apple slices can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container or bag for up to three days.
I do not recommend freezing the apple slices.
